CHUCK PARIS'
BASEBALL CARD PAGE
>> 2019 DOWN-SIZING COMPLETE ! <<

It is finished... my cardboard footprint is now about 90% smaller!

Thanks to John Scott Gray, Mike Rich and especially Jimi Thayer I no longer have any extra cards from 1970 forward.

I kept all of my 1969 and earlier cards as well as my pre-war and continue to collect T206, T202, T212, E120 Tigers, 1935G and 1961-63 Post/Jello collections.

The lists below are the sets/types that I'm still working on.... hopefully on a more active basis!

  • 1912 T202 Hassan Triple Folders... I'm going to work on one of each middle. Here are the ones I have:
  • Relatively new set down to two: 1977 Sertoma Stars Puzzle Backs ... I need the following : Roberto Clemente and Babe Ruth.
  • T206 .......My favorite set !! I recently added an upgrade wantlist of about 200. At the link above, I've noted the cards in red that I'd like to upgrade to approximately GOOD condition (no tears, writing, missing paper or major stains).
  • 1910 T212 Obaks I'm trying to collect one copy of each slogan on the back. Here's a list ........1910 T212 OBAK SLOGANS WANTED
  • E120 American Caramel ...... Thanks to Mac's Cobb, I only need the following Detroit Tigers to complete this team set: Cutshaw, Flagstead and Heilman. I have the following W573 so I'd also like to pick up the E120 of Dauss, Pilette and Rigney.
  • 1935 Goudey ........ see below for the puzzle backs I need.
  • T-205.......... any cards in any condition other than the few I have: Ames, Archer, Barger, Barger (partial "B"), Bates, Beck, Becker, Bescher, Birmingham, Blackburne, Bresnahan (mouth closed), M. Brown, Byrne, Camnitz, Corridon, Crandall (t crossed) Devore, Dickson, Dooin, Downey, Dygert, Egan, Evans, Ewing, Foxen, Gibson, Hanford, Hauser, Hemphill, Herzog, Hummell, D. Jones, Knight, Konetchy, LaPorte, A. Latham, Lord, McConnell, McIntyre (Cubs), Magee, Mattern, Meyers, Milan, Miller, Murphy, Oakes, Oldring, Overall, Paskert, Payne, Pelty, Richie, Schulte, Shean, Sheckard, Stahl, Tannehill, Wallace (w/ cap), Wilson and Wiltse (both ears).
  • 1961-1963 Post/Jello cards are probably my favorite 1960's issue, so in order to expand my horizons I've decided on a new project ............. since the 1961-1963 Post/Jello sets I'm currently working on are of the "8-year-old with a scissors and ink-pen" variety, I'm going to work on matching sets that look more like a loving mother cut them out for the little whipper-snapper..... and at this point, my list is wide open since none currently match that category !!!!
  • Pre-War Type cards - My Want List and Have List can be found at the link above.

    Selected Pre-War wantlists -

    1935 GOUDEY

The two digit puzzle backs refer to the rarer version, while the single digits are the more common. The puzzles are...

    3. or 13. Frankie Frisch............. I need only back A (Simmons/Cochrane)
